Jeff Most is the President and C.E.O. of Most Films and Jeff Most Productions.

Jeff has been a respected film and television producer in Hollywood for over 30 Years. During that time, Jeff has built a solid reputation for producing artistically gratifying and commercially successful feature films and television series with stellar casts and production values. To date, Jeff has produced or executive produced more than 30 feature films and television series.

Jeff grew up in New York City and graduated from United Nations International High School. Thereafter, he attended George Washington University’s School of Business and Government before moving on to New York University’s Tisch School of Film and Television where he majored in screenwriting in the prestigious Dramatic Writing Program while he minored in film production.

While attending N.Y.U. Jeff had the opportunity to work on several feature films and TV series, including being the assistant to the producer, Barbara Lieberman, on NBC’s SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE for two seasons, in the SNL Film and Tape unit, which is responsible for the production of all out of studio work, including weekly “take-off” commercials and other film shorts.  Jeff worked regularly with the SNL cast, including Eddie Murphy, Joe Piscopo, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Mary Gross and Brad Hall.

Jeff moved to Hollywood after NYU and at age 23 became writer and producer of the Columbia Pictures Television nationally syndicated T.V. series “Top 40 Videos”, which Jeff wrote and produced for 5 seasons for Hunt-Jaffe Productions. During that time, Jeff also wrote and produced a number of other TV series including “Hitmakers”, and comedy series, “MyTV” and wrote, produced and directed “The Pre-Grammy Special starring Julian Lennon”.

Jeff formed Jeff Most Productions, and broke into the feature film business, as a producer, when he set up his first feature, THE SPECIALIST, at Warner Brothers. The film, based on the 11 novel series, which Jeff optioned and developed, was directed by Luis Llosa and starred Sylvester Stallone, Sharon Stone, Rod Steiger, Eric Roberts and James Woods. THE SPECIALIST opened number one at the box office, set a record for its opening weekend and was an international box office success.

Thereafter, Jeff developed and produced THE CROW, based on the underground comic book series. The film, directed by first time feature director, Alex Proyas, who Jeff discovered off his music video reel, starred Brandon Lee, Michael Wincott and Ernie Hudson. The film set an opening weekend record and stayed atop the box office for three consecutive weeks. THE CROW was a worldwide hit and spawned three feature sequels, an original soundtrack franchise, which sold more than 10 million albums, which Jeff music supervised and executive produced and a successful syndicated TV series, which Jeff executive produced, THE CROW: STAIRWAY TO HEAVEN, starring Mark Dacascos.

Jeff Produced THE CROW franchise’s three sequels: THE CROW: CITY OF ANGELS, which starred Vincent Perez, Mia Kirshner and Iggy Pop and opened number one at the box office and set a record for its opening weekend, THE CROW: SALVATION, which starred Kirsten Dunst, Eric Mabius, Walton Goggins and Fred Ward, and THE CROW: WICKED PRAYER, which Jeff also co-wrote, which starred Edward Furlong, Dennis Hopper, Emmanuel Chriqui and David Boreanaz.

Jeff executive produced and was Emmy nominated for “Best TV Movie” for THE COURAGEOUS HEART OF IRENA SENDLER, which starred Oscar winners Anna Pacquin and Marcia Gay Harden. The TV film, which aired on CBS, won an Emmy Award, Cammy Award, Christopher Award, Movie Guide Award and received numerous nominations including Golden Globe, Directors Guild, Writer’s Guild and American Society of Cinematographer nominations.

Recently, Jeff executive produced the feature film LONDON FIELDS directed by Mattew Cullen, starring Johnny Depp, Amber Heard, Billy Bob Thornton, Jim Sturges, Theo James, and Cara Delevingne. LONDON FIELDS will have its world premiere at the 2015 Toronto Film Festival.

Jeff’s recent films as producer include the 2014 Tribeca Films release, MALADIES starring James Franco, Catherine Keener, Alan Cummings and David Straithairn. The film premiered in competition at the Berlinale and SXSW Film Festivals.

Also in 2014, the romantic comedy, SLIGHTLY SINGLE IN L.A. about life as a single woman dealing with the “bigger better deal in L.A.” starring Jenna Dewan-Tatum, Lacey Chabert, and Chris Kattan.

Released in 2013 were the crime thriller, PAWN, starring Oscar winner Forrest Whitaker, Ray Liotta, Michael Chiklis, Common and Nikki Reed; and OFFICER DOWN a psycholigal thriller starring Stephen Dorff, James Woods, David Boreanaz, Walt Goggins, Stephen Lang and Annalynne McCord.

In 2012 MGM released, SOLDIERS OF FORTUNE, about a group of billionaires on an extreme vacation, starring Sean Bean, Christian Slater, James Cromwell, Ving Rhames,  and Freddy Rodriguez.

Also in 2012 Jeff executive produced THE BROKEN TOWER directed by and starring James Franco and Michael Shannon, which was distributed by Focus Features.

Through the years Jeff has produced a number of other highly respected feature films including the award winning coming of age comedy, GIRL, directed by Jon Kahn, which stars Selma Blair, Portia Di Rossi and Dominique Swain; the award winning drama, ON THE DOLL, which stars Brittany Snow, Paul Ben-Victor and Angela Sarafyan; THE TOMB  starring Wes Bentley, Eric Roberts and Michael Madsen; VENICE UNDERGROUND, which stars Eric Mabius, Edward Furlong and Danny Trejo and GHOST IMAGE, which stars Elisabeth Rohm, Stacy Dash and Roma Maffia.

Most Films and Jeff Most are currently developing and or prepping a number of film and TV projects. These include feature films such: THE VATICAN CONNECTION, based on the non-fiction book of the year, co-written and to be directed by Michael Winterbottom, which is the true story of the biggest banking scandal involving The Vatican in its history and which lead to the murder of more than a dozen bankers worldwide: RAZOR based on the best selling female action comic, written and to be directed by Rob Cohen; the WWII thriller, CODENAME: JOLANTA, based on the true story of 2007 Nobel Peace Prize Nominee, Irena Sendler’s heroic efforts to save 2500 children from the Warsaw Ghetto during WWII; a remake of THE CROW to be directed by Corin Hardy: a remake of the 1965 Italian sci-fi classic, THE TENTH VICTIM, based on a script by Stuart Hazeldine; and the high concept comedy THINK TWICE! written by Jon Kahn & Jeff.

Jeff is currently developing several TV series including: BIG MAC with Ariel Vromen attached to direct and executive produce, about the real true life “Scarface” of Los Angeles who was L.A.’s biggest crimelord in the 1970’s and 1980’s; and GOTHAM JOE about legendary New York Police Department Detective Joe Coffey, who was the head of the N.Y. State Organized Crime Task Force and was responsible for jailing 4 out of the 5 Mafia Dons who ran New York City in the 1980’s.  The series is based on his true crime book: “The Coffey Files: One Cop’s War Against The Mob”.

Jeff resides with his wife in Beverly Hills and is the proud father of four children.
